Profile
An evening of seasonal medieval fare and entertainments
Cast aside all preconceptions about medieval food and manners – this is a rare opportunity to experience how our ancestors really enjoyed themselves.
Harvest Feast and Feste is a time of revelry and autumnal plenty for vassals and villeins alike.
Savour a communal feast prepared to authentic medieval recipes, drawing on the bounty of harvest season. Taste wines, ale and mead from our locally sourced bar, served in reproduction, hand-thrown jugs and goblets.
Vegetarians need not fear a second-class service: our team of cooks and food historians have mined the recipe books of the Middle Ages to find dishes to appeal to modern tastes.* Sandwich Medieval Centre’s blacksmith has produced unique table knives and spoons for diners’ use – but expect to wait another century or two for a fork!
