The Georgina Maddox Community Fund supports projects that improve the lives of people living in Sandwich. Established through a generous legacy from local resident Georgina Maddox, the fund aims to enhance wellbeing, strengthen community connections and protect the local environment.
Funding is available for charities, community groups and schools delivering projects that:
Increase participation in sport and healthy living activities

Promote social wellbeing through arts, culture and community events

Support the physical and mental health of disadvantaged children

Protect and improve Sandwich’s natural and built environment

Grants of up to £3,000 are available, with larger grants of up to £5,000 considered in exceptional circumstances. All projects must directly benefit residents of Sandwich.
